Have you ever explored your subconscious mind to find out why it wants you to keep
Our brains (or our conscious minds) think they are in control of everything but really
they are at the mercy of our subconscious minds. Our subconscious minds make
powerful associations that our brains remain blissfully unaware of.
Think about these:
As a child, did any of your family members smoke?
As a teenager, did you smoke with a group of friends?
As an adult, does smoking mean that you can take a break from work and relax
for a little while?
Our subconscious mind takes in information about these situations and formulates
belief systems. These belief systems dictate your behavior. As much as you may WANT
to change, it is very difficult when you are going against your subconscious beliefs.

are getting a clear “yes” and “no”, try checking these statements:
If I quit smoking, I will disappoint my mother (or other family member that
If I quit smoking, I will be alone
If I quit smoking, I will lose my identity
If your subconscious mind believes something bad will happen if you quit smoking then it
will do everything it can to keep you smoking. It will keep you stuck in the belief that “I
have to smoke”.

smoke” and change them. When you clear all of the “have to’s” you are left with “I
choose to”. And when you have a choice, that’s when you can easily choose to quit.
